I was wondering if there were any more pictures of the figures than just what’s in the book. Sometimes I’m not 100 percent sure what you mean or what row exactly to place something and it would be nice to have more angles of these guys. I’m a visual learner, the more pics the better 😋
Thanks in advance CarrieAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11834710354091379156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554064124143906905.post-75573939005797642852021-01-25T14:29:55.878+00:002021-01-25T14:29:55.878+00:00That explanation makes sense, somehow this is my t...That explanation makes sense, somehow this is my third figure and I never realized I was doing them inside out. If you imagine that what you're working on is a bowl, you should be crocheting at the front of the bowl and the rest of it should be further away from you. the texture of the stitches on the inside and outside are different, take a look at the pictures on page 12.
If this is what you have done you may have to go back and work all the colour changes again, as I would imagine all the loose threads would be on the wrong side. After doing round 16 in FLO, I see the back loops left over but they're on the outside of his body. When I fold back rounds 16-18 so that they will hang over, those back loops from 15 are hidden underneath the part that I folded back. I can't figure out how to get at them, what am I missing? I found most of the colors on lovecrafts us, but did source two from woolwarehouse uk. They are amazingly cheap for shipping considering its an international package! Unfortunately, the company that made Robin yarns went out of business a few months ago, and I haven't found replacements yat. Their dark brown was especially useful. As an alternative Stylecraft Special DK is a great brand with lots of colours, but it is a bit thinner than Hayfield Bonus, so they're not good to mix together. It also isn't good for brushing to give furry effects (as I did with Hagrid's hair, for example), I think it must be spun a bit more tightly. I am confused on the Porg though. I can't figure out where you used the apricot on them. I would go ahead and find a color close since it appears to be hard to find, but I can't even see where it is on the critters. Robin yarn is impossible to find too, so I am going to see what the colors look like and find as close as I can. Thanks for all the adjunct patterns you have made. I received the HP kit for Christmas and went looking around to see what else you have done. O...Hi, the pattern for Lando's hair is correct. One thing to remember is that when you make parts that don't need to be stuffed, like clothes and separate hair, you don't need to work as tightly as when you are making the body parts that get stuffed. Work with an even tension (I find it's hard to work the bobble stitches too tightly) and the hair should fit the head.LucyRavenscarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18343160468638235491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3554064124143906905.post-10463496715808495002020-12-09T19:23:34.453+00:002020-12-09T19:23:34.453+00:00Hi Lucy, I'm having the same problem that @Mag...Hi Lucy, I'm having the same problem that @Mags mentioned earlier and I wasn't able to view a reply.
