The Mandalorian Crochet - new version

A few years ago I designed the patterns for The Mandalorian Crochet kit and book. Now, just in time for the release of the new film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, it has been reprinted with an updated Grogu pattern, and a new pattern for cute little alien Clang the Anzellan. I just received my copy of the kit and it looks great - here are some photos, and pictures of the new/updated figures after I made them.

Grogu now has a little shield and a bag:

I haven't seen the film yet so I don't know much about him, I only know that Clang the Anzellan is from the same species as Babu Frik, who appeared in The Rise of Skywalker, and is very small:

  1. I'd love to know what you think of the new film, and if you like the new pattern.

Do you sell the pattern for the Azellan?

  3. No, I've only just done the pattern for The Mandalorian book, and the pattern is owned by the publisher.

  4. LOVE your patterns. Where do you order your flesh tones for the Harry Potter figures? When making the Star Wars set, I have tried 3-4 different yarns DW weight and not found one that matches the color in order to complete the Star Wars set. And now I’m in the same predicament with the Harry Potter set.

  5. Thanks! I mostly use Hayfield Bonus DK for my amigurumi, they have a really good range of colours. The yarn that is sourced for the kits is totally different though, it's not a particular brand and isn't available anywhere else, I'm afraid. I have done posts about the yarns I've used (see list to the right), though you may find that the names of some of them have changed.
