Wicket the Ewok

A few years ago I made my Star Wars mad son an Ewok amigurumi, Wicket to be precise. I posted it up on Craftster, and even managed to write a tutorial on how to make it. It was fairly rough, so in an attempt to practice my pattern-writing skills and try out making PDFs (in the hope that I will be able to put some of my patterns on Etsy) I now present the latest updated version:

**Edited to add**

I know the link above can be a bit unreliable, so I've now also put up a recently updated version of the pattern as a download in my Ravelry store: http://www.ravelry.com/stores/lucy-ravenscar-designs

Howdy LucyRavenscar, we have four of your patterns listed at Ravelry.com with different designer names. The two Totoros are attributed to Heavens Hellcat and the Dragon and Ewok are attributed to Angry Angel. Of course, you also use LucyRavenscar.

Under which name would you like your designs attributed? We would like to use one name and alias the others.

Or, join us at www.Ravelry.com and get linked as a designer.

Thanks,
papertole

Hi, could you use LucyRavenscar please? That would be great. It's so awkward when you end up with loads of different names!

I really must get more active on Ravelry, I haven't quite got the hang of it yet.

Sounds great - LucyRavenscar it is.

Oh, so you are on Ravelry. Great!. If you need any help with anything, I hang out on the Help group and Ravelry Editors and For The Love Of Ravelry. I use the same name here as I do there.

I've just checked the PDF link and it does work, so if anyone ever has problems, just try again later. Nane, I've emailed to you anyway.

Hi Crystal, I don't know why it doesn't work sometimes, but I just checked it and it seems okay. Keep trying, and you should be able to download it.

Thank you, your Wicket looks sweet! I agree, when you've just made the feet and joined them together, they do have cute little butts!

hello, first thanks for the input.
I've been reading your employer and do not understand the acronyms FO, I could clarify, thank you very much

LucyRavenscar said...

Thanks eva.

FO means fasten off. When you finish a part, you cut the yarn and pull it through the loop on the hook.
