Great news! Congratulations! Do you know if the book will also be available in some eReader format(s)?
Thanks! I don't know about that, but I will ask.
That's fantastic news! Good for you! I'm very excited about the book!!! Although it seems the only one I don't already have is Jabba ;) Oh well. I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of those patterns in the past 4 years!! They truly are the best!
Thanks! Sorry you missed out on Jabba.
Yey, that's exactly what I'd been looking for, can't wait to get the book! Thanks for the great work :)
Is there ANYWAY I can get a special order for the Ewok with head dress and stick this yr?
Hi! Lucy, Is it possible to have these patterns sent to me in a group because my grandson is just infatuated with Star Wars and all of the characters. He is 6 years old and is very shy and keeps to himself a lot. He really needs these characters as a real outlet for him. I would be very open to pay you the price you would charge for your book.
Also, I would love to wait for your book but my grandson can't wait..I would just love to have all of your characters for him to love and take care of.. His name is Matthew and his birthday is 11/29/08. Oh, yes! I love your characters too.
Erick and Carole, I don't own the rights to these patterns anymore, they belong to the publishing company, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the book comes out.
Oh, I am so looking forward to the publication of your book! Would pre-order it if possible. (Is it possible?)
Anyway, it goes on my calendar for Spring 2015 - FIND AND BUY LUCY RAVENSCAR'S BOOK! Thank you for all the fun you have provided so far. Crochet forever!- Sarah
Thank you Sarah! I'll keep you updated on the book as I get information on it, and if you'll be able to pre-order it, I'll let you know.
I was a Jawa for Halloween once :) brings back the memories, I've got my eye on that little guy...
Nuuu! But congrats to you :)
Any update on the book title/release date? I was hoping to make these for a wedding in late March, which is northern hemisphere Spring...
Thanks! So far it seems that the book will be published in May in the US. The last I heard it should be published in Australia/NZ, hopefully at the same time, but there was nothing definite for other areas of the world.
Hmm... might have to be an anniversary gift then :P Or sub in felt eyes and wait for their first born. For now, a giant Death Star pillow it is :)
Is the Jabba pattern going to be in your book? I'm so excited! Can't wait for this book!
Thanks! Yes, Jabba will be in the book, which currently has a release date of 12th My, at least in the US. Here's the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Crochet-Kits/dp/1626863261
Hey Lucy,
I just wanted to let you know that your designs are both gorgeous and fun :-) I will be buying the Star Wars book as soon as it is released here in Europe. In the mean time, can you tell me how tall the figures are (of course it depends on the needle) - i plan on making them as small as possible (size 1 - 1,5 needle)
Thank you for great inspiration
Betina
Thanks! If you make the figures with 3.5mm hook and DK weight yarn, the figures range from Yoda at 2.5" tall, to Chewbacca at 4.5" tall.
Great job on the characters, my friend, Deb, looked at the picture and said "I want Yoda"!
